PUPPY PACKAGE
Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behavior, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. Puppies should be introduced to dog grooming at around 12 weeks old, on the basis they have had their full vaccinations.
To prevent your puppy from becoming fearful of the grooming salon we highly recommend that the below package is booked so as your puppy is introduced calmly to the grooming process allowing us to give them the best start to their grooming journey.
Session 1
Socialisation, meet myself, play, treats (Subject to dietary requirements), introduction to the tools, brush through and nails filed
Session 2
Socialisation. Introduction to hygiene trimming and brush
Session 3
Socialisation. Introduction to the bath and dryer. Tidy up of feet, face and hygiene area
Session 4
Bath and Blow Dry
Session 5
Finally the day has come where you puppy has their big girl/boy hair cut!
You will be given feedback after each session to ensure you are aware of any areas for improvement that could be worked on at home. You will also be provided with advice on how to best care for your dogs coat at home.
This package is only available for puppies under 6 months of age.

At Pawprint Hearts we only groom with a certified City and Guilds qualification so you as the owner know your beloved pet is in the safest of hands.
With a passion for all things dog you can have peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the utmost care and attention.
BATH AND BLOW DRY
Bath and blow is a great choice for longer haired dogs to maintain their coat between their full groom to ensure they are matt and tangle free.
Bath and blow drys are £15 off the original grooming price (Subject to being matt free)
ULTRA SONIC TEETH CLEANING
The ultrasonic dog toothbrush generates up to 96 million vibrations per minute and thus ensures maximum effectiveness in cleaning your dog's teeth. The effective dog toothbrush is highly recommended by veterinarians as well as dog owners and stands out clearly from mechanical dog toothbrushes
The initial consultation will last approximately 30 mins and follow up treatmentswill last approximately 20 mins.
For grooming clients, follow up treatments canbe added onto regularly scheduled grooming visits.

Paws for Thought
Dedicated to my passion and adoration for animal care, I gained my City & Guilds dog grooming diploma and dog first aid in 2022. I fell in love with dogs at a very young age and after losing my first dog Barney at a young age of only 7 to cancer well and truly broke my heart but also I realised after he passed that my life isn't complete without dogs in it and it's my duty to care for all dogs with the same love I had for him.
There is no law in the world that you require a qualification to dog groom but it was paramount for me to try and change this view on the industry.
I believe that this is a highly skilled trade and should be given the credit it deserves through the correct training and experience. At the end of the day you wouldn’t go to a hairdresser that was not fully qualified so why should you settle for any less for your fur baby.
I entered my first ever grooming competition on 13/08/23 at Premier Groom Coventry and I am extremely proud to say I came second place in the intermediate class. If you think your Pooch would be the perfect candidate for competitions then please do let me know as all preparation work and the groom on competition day is free of charge!

Pawprint Hearts Terms & Conditons
All clients are required to complete the client form and agree to our Terms and Conditions.
All your data is confidential and will not be shared with any third party.
Please inform me of any changes in your pet's health or temperament or your personal details to allow me to continue to provide a service tailored to your pet's need's.
YOUR PET'S HEALTH AND WELFARE.
Whilst your pet is in my care its health and welfare are my primary concern. It will only ever be groomed according to its tolerance of the process. If your pet is fearful of any of the procedures employed during grooming, a workaround or alternative will be employed. Occasionally during grooming a pre-existing condition may be discovered which you may not have been aware of. I will notify you of this so that you can seek veterinary advice. Although extremely unlikely, accidents can happen during grooming. In the event of an accident or serious medical issue arising during your pet's groom you authorise me to seek emergency veterinary treatment.
GROOM FEEDBACK
You will be given feedback after every groom. If you have any queries or need further clarification, please just ask or contact me at a later stage. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your pet's groom please let me know before you leave. Reasonable requests to alter the trim will be dealt with immediately or changes noted for the next groom. I am more than happy to disclose any details of your pet's groom or advise you about how best to care for your pet's coat.
PRICING
Starting prices are for pets:
• That are used to being professionally groomed on a regular schedule , between 4-12 weeks depending on coat type.
• Whose coats are well maintained between professional grooms (kept tangle, knot & matt free by regular brushing or combing)
You can reasonably expect to pay more than the starting price for:
• Matted, poorly maintained &/or overgrown coats
• Pets which are difficult to manage or uncooperative during grooming
• Overweight pets or oversized for the breed standard
• Timid, anxious , aggressive or nervous pets, which require frequent breaks & may need special handling
These take more time, labour &/or product. The costs are passed on to you.
If I am unable to complete a groom due to behavioural problems or aggression you will be charged the full quoted price of the groom. All costs are payable in full at the time you collect your pet.
PHOTOGRAPHS.
Your pet may be photographed before, during or after its groom. Photographs may be used in or on any Pawprint Hearts advertising or social media platform. Please let me know if you prefer your pet not to be photographed.
TIME KEEPING.
Please be punctual. I work by appointment only; the appointment slot allocated for your pet/pets groom has been booked at your request , a no-show is lost income. I also offer a free appointment reminder; by text or email. Just tell me your preference. If you are late by 15mins to collect your dog then a late collection fee of £10 per 15 mins will be applied on top of your regular grooming price
CANCELLING YOUR DOG'S APPOINTMENT
I respectfully request 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your pet's appointment. The slot can then be rebooked out.
NO-SHOWS & LATE CANCELLATIONS (of less 48hrs notice.
A fee of 100% of your usual groom price will be levied for missed appointments and late cancellations. A non-refundable deposit of the starting price of the groom will be levied to secure a new appointment slot. If you incur any of the above-mentioned fees, they are payable in full at the time of the missed or late cancellation and before booking your pet's next appointment.
NEGLECTED & MATTED COATS.
In the event that your pet's coat needs to be clipped down to release it from matting or coat neglect, Pawprint Hearts Salon, its owner and operator are not liable for any post-grooming effects of this procedure, which is not without risk.
Any humane de-matting will be undertaken solely at my discretion, in compliance with The Animal Welfare Act 2006 (clause 5 - Animals are to be protected from pain, injury and suffering). De-matting during a routine groom is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes and is only possible if the matting is minimal. For severely matted coats where de-matting isn't possible, the only humane way to deal with this will be to completely clip off the coat.
We will not be held responsible for any pre-existing or new skin conditions which may arise due to having to be clipped short.
We will not be held responsible for any minor nicks or cuts caused, due to having to remove tightly matted coats.
We will not be held responsible for any Haematoma's caused from the removal of heavy ear matting. Ears may also bleed at the tips when tight ear matting is removed, due to pressure released within the ear.
Dematting and removal of matted coats is charged in addition to your normal groom fee.
FLEAS AND TICKS Please not that if Fleas are found on your dog during the grooming process then an additional £50 will be applied to your grooming price. If a tick is found then it will be an additional £5 per removal
